WELCOME BOULEVARD FAMILIES!

Hello Boulevard families and community members!

My name is Sara Lohser and I am one of your co-presidents for the 2024-2025 year, along with my teammate extraordinaire, Erika Lopresti. I have been a Boulevard mom for 10 years and have LOVED my time at our school and getting to know all the amazing kids, families, teachers, staff and of course the best principal around, Mr. Robinson.

I have four children in the district, Estelle is in 8th grade, Emelia is in 6th grade and my twin boys, Jack and Zander are in 4th grade at Boulevard this year.  When I am not in my role as PTO co-president or mom, I stay busy at work as a physician.

I grew up in Cleveland Heights and we moved to Shaker 10 years ago.  We are so happy to be in Shaker and feel very fortunate to be a part of this outstanding district.  I am looking forward to a fantastic year, filled with growth of our PTO, engagement with parents and development of programs to support our kids and school.  I am grateful for the other parents and guardians who help us to make all of this possible with volunteering!  Please feel free to reach out with any ideas, suggestions, and if you are able to help us with any events we would love to see you!

 ***

I am Erika LoPresti, the teammate mentioned above. Boulevard has been a part of our family for over 34 years. My husband and his brothers are all Boulevard Grads! I  grew up in Maryland and lived there for over 26 years until I met my husband  at the Middle school where I was teaching. We moved to Ohio shortly after and got married 18 years ago. Our oldest daughter Sofia is 17 and a Senior at the High School. Our Middle daughter, Ella is a 9th grader at the highschool too! Our youngest child is Charlie and is in 4th grade this year! I can not believe how fast the years have gone by.

We really appreciate all of your hard work and effort since the school year began!

Cheers to the 2024-2025 school year. We truly hope it is our BEST ever!

About Boulevard PTO:

The Boulevard Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) facilitates and supports the involvement of families in the educational success and well-being of students.

Every parent/caregiver and teacher of a Shaker student is automatically a valued member of the PTO as there are no dues to pay or applications to fill out!  All parents and guardians of Boulevard students are part of the Boulevard PTO, and have the opportunity to volunteer their time and skills to support our school community.

The Boulevard PTO Executive Board is formed in the spring for the following school year, and is made up of volunteer PTO Officers who plan, organize and lead the efforts to strengthen the Boulevard school community and support our students, families, teachers and staff. There are a number of subcommittees, projects and events that PTO manages, giving all PTO members the opportunity to participate directly in support of our school community.

Boulevard PTO is part of the umbrella PTO Council which oversees, guides, and collaborates with each Shaker school's PTO. For additional information about PTO Council, please visit the PTO Council webpage.
