On this week’s episode, DEI Coordinator Tiara Sargeant is joined by Shaker Heights alumni Stephanie Shealy and Ifeolu A.C. Claytor to discuss the legacy of Dr. King, what a Beloved Community means to them and to Shaker Heights, how their experience at Shaker Heights Schools has impacted their lives since graduation and what they think about educational equity. Public Forum: DEI Efforts in Shaker Heights

Co hosted by the League of Women Voters and the PTO, this community forum will include information and then a discussion on how our City is working on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Panelists include Kim Harris, community activist, Shaker African American Moms; Colleen Jackson, chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, City of Shaker Heights; Judge Anne Walton Keller, Shaker Heights Municipal Court; Sean Malone, Shaker Heights City Council; moderator Angel Michelle Chapman, executive director, NewONEShaker.
