Welcome to Woodbury PTO! All parents and caregivers are automatically members so we invite you to participate with us as much as your schedule allows. It's going to be a great year at Shaker's upper elementary school filled with fun community-building opportunities for families plus numerous ways to engage in your student's educational success. The Rainbow Run is a 2-mile fun run/walk through the Shaker Middle School neighborhood. Students, parents and principals from each elementary school will throw colored powder from 7 color stations on runners/walkers as they pass. Food trucks, concessions & DJ celebration for all afterwards at the finish line! (Food truck accepts credit cards.)


Saturday, April 13, rain or shine!
12:00 pm Check-in -- you must register to participate in the run!
12:30 pm Celebration Ceremony
1:00 pm Race begins with a staggered start
4:00 pm Rainbow Run event concludes
SMS Upper Fields
 

Registration is $5. $20 for a white event T-shirt to be worn for the race to get colored.

VOLUNTEER FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL PTO

 

As we look ahead to next year, we have an exciting opportunity to develop an active and engaged PTO to serve our new 6-8th grade Middle School. The PTO is open to all caregivers of Shaker Middle School students and we welcome all whether you join us for one meeting or want to be on the executive board. We work throughout the year to plan community-building events, raise funds, and support our teachers and staff. WE LOVE WOODBURY FUNDRAISER RESULTS

Thank you to everyone for your donations and support of Woodbury. Thank you to the school staff for making the video and completing the art project in school. We truly appreciate the time spent reflecting on the good things happening in school. We have raised more than $11,500 that will be used for PTO events and programs in the coming year to build community, support our teachers, and have fun! Look for the beautiful artwork created by Woodbury students in the halls of the school. A special thank you to Pizzazz, Upper Crust Pizza and Ben and Jerry’s for donating items for class parties. 

 

We are looking forward to the amazing events coming up throughout the winter and spring to celebrate our amazing school community.

SHS PATHWAYS PRESENTATION

On Thursday, February 23rd the Shaker Middle School PTO hosted a presentation highlighting opportunities at the high school. Special guest speakers included Dr. John Moore, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and David Peterjohn, School Counseling Department Chair.
